Recruiting New Chapters
Let’s Move Forward to Fifty!
Engage in the Forward to Fifty campaign and your chapter could receive $1000!
Getting Started and Participation
- Get started in the campaign by identifying a school that does not have a TSA chapter. A new school/chapter may be recruited from anywhere in the nation, not just nearby, as recruiting/mentoring may be done in person or virtually. If you need assistance in identifying a school to recruit, contact Monica Geiger, Member Services Manager. A helpful resource for recruiting new chapters can be found in this list of new chapter recruitment ideas.
- Once a school has been identified, complete and submit a Recruitment Intention Form to National TSA; confirmation to move forward with recruiting/mentoring will come from National TSA.
- Digital marketing resources may be accessed by existing chapters and/or prospective chapters.
- Existing chapters are expected to engage during the school year with prospective chapters (examples: invite the prospective chapter to a chapter meeting; have a Zoom or in-person meeting about competition experiences; provide leadership activity ideas).
- The deadline for new chapters (recruited through the Forward to Fifty campaign) to affiliate is April 15, 2025.
- In late April 2025, National TSA will confirm eligibility for existing chapters that qualify for the opportunity to possibly receive $1000.
Double Your Opportunity
Double your chapter’s opportunity to possibly receive $1000 through TSA’s Forward to Fifty membership recruitment campaign!
As a part of the chapters recruiting new chapters component of the F2F campaign, high school chapters can double their opportunity to receive $1000 by recruiting and mentoring their unaffiliated feeder middle schools and helping them start a TSA chapter. Once a feeder middle school has affiliated, the recruiting high school chapter will be entered twice into the random selection to receive $1000. The first step for the recruiting chapter is to submit the F2F Recruitment Intention form.
A similar opportunity applies to middle school chapters: recruit and mentor your unaffiliated feeder high school(s) and your chapter can double its opportunity to receive $1000. Once a recruited feeder high school has affiliated with TSA, the recruiting middle school chapter will be entered twice in the random selection to receive $1000. Middle school chapters can get started by submitting the F2F Recruitment Intention form.
