F2F Recruitment
Suggested ideas for recruiting new chapters:
- Advisor: Contact the county or district CTE program manager or TSA state advisor for help in identifying nearby schools not affiliated with TSA.
- Members: Contact previous schools/former teachers at a school that did not have a TSA chapter.
- Members: Contact your friends at other schools to see if there are TSA chapters there, and if not, help them start one.
- High school members: Volunteer to help start and support a TSA chapter at a middle school not affiliated with TSA.
- Members: Share chapter successes with relatives in other states, and check with them to see if their school has a TSA chapter. Follow up with schools that are interested in TSA.
- Members: Create a display board (pictures of events, work time, social events, competitions, etc.) that can be given to a school following a visit.
- Members: Create a chapter website that can be shared with interested, prospective schools.
- Chapter: Host an open house for prospective advisors and interested students.
