National TSA Conference Judging and Volunteer Opportunities

Competitive Event judges and volunteers are needed for the 2026 National TSA Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, June 22 through June 26. Qualified adults attending the conference are invited to consider serving as a volunteer and/or as a judge for one or more TSA competitive events. Judge training and instructions will be provided.
A judge must be 19 years of age and at least one year out of high school.
Adults may serve as a judge or volunteer for one or more competitions, provided there are no timing conflicts.
Chapter advisors, parents, adult relatives of a chapter member, or adult guests may serve as a judge, but not for a competition in which the adult has a personal association with a competitor. (Examples: a high school chapter advisor may judge middle school competitive events only, and a middle school chapter advisor may judge high school events only; a parent/other adult may not serve as a judge for an event in which the parent/other adult has a personal association with a competitor).
Judges will receive a small token of appreciation, and – on the day of judging – a boxed lunch.
