Important Conference Dates/Deadlines
General Session I - June 23, 2021 - 9:00 AM*
The 2021 National TSA Conference will open with the Parade of State Flags recognizing state officers. TIffany Ashton will perform the National Anthem, and Gus White, MD-PhD
Student and Graduate Research Assistant, Department of Health Behavior and Policy and Virginia Commonwealth University, will deliver the keynote address: “More than a Motto”. Special awards and CompTIA stipends will be presented, and the
first set of competitive event finalists will be announced with trophies awarded to the top three finalists in each competitive event.
General Session II - June 24, 2021 - 9:00 AM*
The second general session of the 2021 National TSA Conference opens with recognizing state delegation presidents. Membership awards, Chapter Advisor of the Year award, and the Technology Honor
Society will be presented. CompTIA stipends and another set of competitive event finalists will be announced with trophies awarded to the top three finalists in each competitive event.
General Session III - June 25, 2021 - 9:00 AM*
The third general session of the 2021 National TSA Conference will introduce the newly elected national TSA officers and Board of Directors for the 2021-2022 school year. We will also thank
and say farewell to the 2020-2021 National TSA Officers. CompTIA stipends and the last set of competitive event finalists will be announced with trophies awarded to the top three finalists in each competitive event.
*Conference participants should plan to view the General Sessions at 9:00 AM in their own time zone
Keynote Speaker
The 2021 National TSA Conference keynote speaker is Mr. Gus White, a former TSA state officer (Tennessee TSA Sergeant at Arms; Tennessee TSA Vice President), national TSA officer (2012 National TSA Sergeant at Arms),
and seven-year member of TSA. Gus graduated from the University of Tennessee and currently is a third-year MD-PhD student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Gus plans to pursue a career as a physician–scientist with a
focus in internal medicine and health behaviors.
