National TSA is seeking in-person judges for the 2024 National TSA Conference in Orlando, Florida. Adults planning to attend the conference are invited to consider serving as a judge for one or more TSA competitive events. Information about judging is provided below.

  • Judge training and instructions will be provided.
  • A judge must be 19 years of age and at least one year out of high school.
  • Parents/adult guests who plan to attend the national TSA conference, including those who wish to judge, must pay conference registration. 
  • TSA chapter advisors may judge a competition at a level in which their student members are not competing (i.e., a high school chapter advisor may judge middle school competitive events only, and a middle school chapter advisor may judge high school events only).
  • Parents, relatives of a chapter member, or guests may serve as a judge, but not for a competition in which the adult has a personal association with a competitor.
  • Adults may serve as the judge for one or more competitions, provided there are no timing conflicts.
  • Judges will receive a small token of appreciation, and – on the day of judging – a boxed lunch.
