Important National TSA Conference Information for Parents*

Parents … did you know your child may ONLY attend the national TSA conference if you complete the TSA, Inc. AUTHORIZATION FORM? 
The authorization form will be given to you by your child’s chapter advisor. View the form here. You must complete and return the form to the advisor, who may need to present individual student authorization forms to a TSA representative at the conference. Please keep a copy of the completed form for your records. 

Parents … did you know you can be a competition judge at the national TSA conference? 
More than 200 judges are needed at the national TSA conference. Being a competition judge is a great way to become involved in TSA. Consider “rolling up your sleeves” and devoting your time, talent, and skills to this worthwhile endeavor. Instructions will be provided. Visit the TSA website conference page and click on Competitive Events to explore competitions that may match your area of expertise or interest - and for information on volunteering to be a judge. Once you are ready to commit to judging, access the judge sign-up information on the conference web page.  

Parents … did you know there is an online store for TSA apparel? 
TSA members, advisors, and parents can shop for TSA branded apparel and products online. To purchase blazers, shirts, slacks, and other official clothing, as well as accessories such as TSA pins, patches, and ties, visit the TSA website and click on TSA Store.  

Parents … did you know that TSA has a partnership with the American Cancer Society? 
Over the course of its partnership with the American Cancer Society, TSA has raised more than $1MM to help fund the organization’s vital cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services. At the upcoming national conference in Orlando, chapters and states that have raised money between July 1, 2023 and June 1, 2024 for the American Cancer Society will be recognized. Parents … did you know that anyone who attends the national TSA conference must comply with conference registration requirements and with the TSA dress code?  
Parents and other family members who plan to attend the conference must register either on their own or through their child’s chapter advisor. Conference dress code requirements found on the TSA website  must be followed by all who attend the 2024 national TSA conference.
