UNITE

Unite is a four-to-six week, pre-collegiate, academic summer program for talented high school students from groups historically underserved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Funded by the Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) and administered by the Technology Student Association (TSA), Unite is designed to encourage and help prepare students to pursue college-level studies, and ultimately, STEM Careersin fields such as engineering. View more images here, and see "AEOP Blog" and "Unite in the Spotlight" below.

ALABAMA

Alabama State University – Montgomery, AL (day program)

Applications will be accepted from rising 10th-12th grade students.

COLORADO
University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, CO (day program)

Applications will be accepted only from rising 10th-12th grade students from school districts in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, CO.

FLORIDA
Florida State University – Tallahassee, FL (day program)

Program dates: June 10–July 19
Applications will be accepted only from rising 9th-12th students who attend schools in Leon and Gadsden counties in the Tallahassee area. Students who wish to apply must be nominated by a local teacher. 

GEORGIA
Savannah State University – Savannah, GA (residential program)

Applications will be accepted from rising 10th-12th grade students who attend schools in the Savannah Chatham County School district, and who are part of the Upward Bound program at Savannah State University.

IOWA

Applications will be accepted only from rising 10th-12th grade students who participate in the University of Iowa Upward Bound program and who attend Columbus Junction HS, Muscatine HS, and West Liberty HS.  

MARYLAND
