 The Student Leadership Challenge

The Student Leadership Challenge – Five Practices for Becoming an Exemplary Leader by James Couzes and Barry Posner from Wiley Publishing embraces the five practices that chapter members and advisors can use in their everyday life – model the way, inspire a shared vision, challenge the process, enable others to act and encourage the heart.

TSA has used The Student Leadership Challenge –  Five Practices for Becoming an Exemplary Leader as its leadership on-site training model since 2010. To embrace the LEAP Be. Know. Do. criteria and realize the impact that the five practices can have on the development of student leadership, the Competition Engagement and the Legacy Chapter components of LEAP have been integrated with The Student Leadership Challenge philosophy.

TSA members are encouraged to access the free sample resources for The Student Leadership Challenge via the links below.  These free resources will be applicable to all LEAP activities.  Complete Student Leadership Challenge publications are available for purchase, but their purchase is not required to participate in any aspect of LEAP.
