2018–2019 National TSA Secretary

It is finally November—2018 is nearing a close and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. While looking back on this year, I have taken some time to reflect on all the blessings in my life and everything I am thankful for.

TSA has given me the opportunity to work with many amazing people. The national TSA officer team has so much drive and passion for this organization. I am so incredibly thankful to be a part of this team.

I am also thankful for the connections with all the members. One of my favorite parts of attending TSA conferences is meeting people from around the state, country, and even the world.

Whether bonding over competitive events at regionals, meeting members from other states at nationals, or taking impromptu midnight diner trips with my chapter during the Missouri TSA State Conference—I am so thankful for all the relationships TSA has allowed me to foster and grow.

My friends and family are also a huge part of my life. I am thankful for my amazing friends who I can always count on to take trips with me or study for challenging classes. My family is eternally supportive and I am so grateful for their encouragement.

I know this is a busy time of year for everyone, but amidst the flurry of activities going on—consider taking a second to stop, take a breath, and reflect on what it is that you are thankful for.
